Dr. Muna Al-Khaifi brings expertise in cancer survivorship, supportive and precision care, breast health, menopause and sexual health after cancer,  and medical education to speaking, educational, and advisory initiatives.

Through her work in academic medicine, clinical care, research, and education, she advances evidence-informed, patient-centred, and efficient approaches to cancer care that support people during treatment and throughout survivorship. Her work focuses on long-term and late treatment effects, sexual and psychosocial wellbeing, surveillance, rehabilitation, health promotion, and coordinated transitions between oncology and primary care.

A strong advocate for accessible, integrated, and personalized survivorship care, Dr. Al Khaifi translates emerging evidence into practical strategies that strengthen clinical practice, empower patients, and improve continuity and quality of care.

  • Advocates for a model of survivorship that extends beyond cancer surveillance to recognize physical health, psychological wellbeing, sexual health, functional recovery, lifestyle, prevention, cultural context, and quality of life.
